With offices in Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge, Felixstowe, Ipswich, Norwich and Thetford, Ashton KCJ are ideally placed to assist clients throughout East Anglia. In practice, however, they also help people in many other parts of the country.
Members of the Coney Weston Swan Bowls Club Committee were keen to investigate the various options for extending their bowls green and renewing the pavilion. But before any firm plans could be presented to the full membership, they needed legal advice regarding land ownership.
Emma Robinson of Ashton KJC undertook comprehensive research and produced a report with recommendations which was circulated to the full membership prior to a special meeting. This meeting was critical in seeking membership approval to progress the plans for a land-swap scheme with the current owners of the land, and the report undoubtedly helped the decision-making process considerably.
Emma Robinson from Ashton KCJ: "Always pleased to help and glad that my report proved useful to the Coney Weston Bowls Club members."
Peter Clarke from Coney Weston Swan Bowls Club: "I wanted to let you know that Phase 1 of our project is now complete. Without the support of you and your organisation, in providing pro-bono solicitor’s support through Emma Robinson of Ashton KCJ, the project would not have got off the ground. So I want to take this opportunity of thanking you for the key part you played in making it happen. We would also like to thank Emma for her friendly and professional service in dealing with us. It is much appreciated."
