BAME Cross Organisational Mentoring Circles: Seventh Cohort Launch event – London
AudienceBITC members with a race partnership
Wed, 22 January 2020 @ 09:00 – 16:00
Business in the Community’s (BITC) Cross Organisational Mentoring Circles is a high impact programme that brings employees from different organisations together. This event will launch the seventh cohort where mentees will meet their mentors for the first time.
Over a six month period, the group is involved in learning, coaching, challenging and supporting each other whilst being led by a more senior person who acts as lead mentor.
According to BITC’s Race at Work 2018 report 43 per cent of black, Asian, minority ethnic (BAME) employees would like a fast track opportunity but only 10 per cent have this. BITC’s Cross Organisational Mentoring Circles programme was set up in 2013 to provide mentoring to BAME employees to support progression, unlock talent and address BAME under-representation at senior levels.
This programme is only open to BITC members with a race partnership. Find out more about becoming a BITC member. If you hold a race partnership and would like to join the programme contact Hannah Chui, Events Manager.
Light refreshments will be served.
There will be two sessions held during the day.
