Peer learning forum: Engaging With Your Communities on Environment
AudienceBITC members with an environment partnership and BITC members with a community partnership
Tue, 30 March @ 13:30 – 15:00
This Engaging With Your Communities on Environment online peer learning forum brings together Business in the Community (BITC) members that work to address environmental issues and are engaging with the areas in which they operate to deliver impact.
Attendees will discuss lessons learned, ideas and successes in working across their business to engage communities on environmental issues.
Please note that this peer learning forum is only open to BITC’s environment and community partners. However, if you are interested in this event and you do not have a partnership, sign up regardless and we will be in touch. Alternatively, email Ellie Jefford. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis. We will limit spaces to one place per organisation.
Responsible businesses are engaging on the environment internally, within their communities and across the value chain. Regulation and employee demand ensures that we’re building our internal programmes and thinking about emissions and waste across our value chain. However, are we doing enough to engage our communities in achieving our environmental targets?
Our audiences are not mutually exclusive. Our employees, suppliers and customers form part of our business community. How can we be smart to make sure that we’re running our business and co-designing environmental interventions that will deliver impact through joint working with our communities?
About peer learning forums
BITC’s peer learning forums provide a confidential environment to discuss common issues, good practice and solutions. There will be an emphasis on discussion and sharing experiences.
