Business in the Community events and COVID-19

In light of the rapidly evolving situation with COVID-19, Business in the Community (BITC) is refining its approach to events in the coming weeks. Many events will now be delivered via digital technology. Those events which do not lend themselves to remote delivery will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

BITC’s primary goal is to keep people safe so we have taken this decision based on the latest information available from the UK Government, Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Public Health Agencies in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, as well as feedback from many of our members.

Please contact Events@bitc.org.uk for more information.

About the event

Sexual harassment represents a high cost for both victims and business but many employers seem unable to address it. Having policies in place is simply not good enough, a more supportive workplace culture is also needed.

This Business in the Community (BITC) peer learning forum will discuss what sexual harassment is, why it remains so prevalent and what employers can do to tackle it and create an inclusive culture. Best practice examples and recommendations will be shared. Delegates will then have group discussions under Chatham House Rule.

Tea and coffee will be served.

Open to BITC members with a wellbeing partnership. Will be of interest to resbonsible business, diversity and inclusion and human rights practitioners.

About peer learning forums
BITC’s peer learning forums provide a confidential environment to discuss common issues, good practice and solutions. There will be an emphasis on discussion and sharing experiences.
