This is the first in a series of three roundtables on the topic of purposeful leadership through controversy organised by Business in the Community (BITC), in partnership with Philip Morris International. This event will consider how to develop and leverage effective partnerships amidst controversy.

The roundtable will include a closed-door discussion on approaches to securing a good partnership, and attendees can share their experiences of successes and challenges, highlighting what worked well and what did not. BITC will be taking note of the key insights shared, in order to create a short guide to support the wider network.

This event is an exciting opportunity to have a meaningful, open conversation on a subject that is often overlooked or avoided.

The following roundtables will look at ‘How to have a voice amidst controversy’ and ‘How to play a leading role as a responsible business through controversy’. The roundtables are linked through a common theme, but aimed at different business functions.

This event is by invitation only. It is aimed at senior sustainability practitioners, or those in charge of partnerships.

Lunch will be provided.
