This Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Network Aberdeen seminar is an opportunity for responsible business practitioners in the north-east of Scotland to come together on a quarterly basis and share best practice, co-ordinate on activities and network.

Aims and objectives of the event
This event is an opportunity for invitees to network , learn more about how to become more responsible businesses and shape the future of the CSR Network Aberdeen.


  • Alan Thornburrow, BITC Scotland Director, will share a quick introduction to Business in the Community and the support provided to businesses to strengthen responsible business strategies.
  • Abeer Macintyre, Bruce Tait Associates Joint Chief Executive, will share its new Corporate to Community opportunity, an initiative that links middle and senior managers with rewarding charity board opportunities for mutual benefit.
  • A discussion from attendees on what they would like from the CSR Network Aberdeen meetings, in regards to any themed workshops/trainings, peer learning opportunities, planning joint events, etc.

Tea, coffee and cake will be provided

This event is open to both members and non-members of BITC. It is aimed at responsible business and human resources managers, particularly those in oil and gas sectors.
