Thu, 27 May 2021  @  11:00  –  12:00

Join us to understand the steps organisations can take to contribute to a Green Recovery. This webinar will focus on the actions that can be taken now to help create a green and inclusive recovery in Wales.

About the webinar
As we look towards building back, responsible business needs to be at the heart of urgently accelerating action to meet the Global Goals.

At Business in the Community (BITC) Cymru, we are engaging with members and partners to define the priority actions that responsible business must take to create a green and inclusive recovery, which we will share in September 2021 during the UN’s General Assembly week.

This session, which is part of a series of BITC Cymru webinars, will give business leaders in Wales a chance to hear from other business owners and leaders on how they are responsible businesses, and how they are helping to create a green and inclusive recovery.

Agenda

  • Introduction to BITC.
  • Overview of a Green and Inclusive Recovery.
  • Responsible Business Champion case study.
  • Q&A

Audience
This webinar is free of charge and open to BITC members and non-members. It is also suitable for CSR/responsible business managers/practitioners, environment managers/practitioners and supply chain/procurement managers/practitioners.

Background
Build Back Responsibly is an ambitious campaign by BITC to radically change the expectations and impact of responsible business.

In this series of webinars, attendees will consider how responsible business impacts all parts of your business. BITC can help you put creating healthy communities and a healthy environment at the centre of your strategy to achieve long-term financial value.
