Business in the Community events and COVID-19

In light of the rapidly evolving situation with COVID-19, Business in the Community (BITC) is refining its approach to events in the coming weeks. Many events will now be delivered via digital technology. Those events which do not lend themselves to remote delivery will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

BITC’s primary goal is to keep people safe so we have taken this decision based on the latest information available from the UK Government, Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Public Health Agencies in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, as well as feedback from many of our members.

Please contact Events@bitc.org.uk for more information.

About the event

Join Louise Aston, Wellbeing Director, at Business in the Community (BITC) for an introduction to health and wellbeing.

Business is at its best when people are at their best. Learn how individuals and organisations can thrive by taking a preventative whole-person, whole-organisation approach to health and wellbeing.

Hear about practical, evidence-based solutions from leading organisations on health and wellbeing at work.

BITC defines “wellbeing” as the mutually supportive relationship between an individual’s mental, physical, social and financial health and their personal wellbeing.

Taking a whole organisation approach to embedding wellbeing into an organisational culture is key to achieving maximum impact. Wellbeing should be positioned as a strategic boardroom issue supporting thriving people, thriving business and thriving communities.
