Webinar: Capturing Ethnicity Data
AudienceHR/people/talent management practitioners/managers, CSR/responsible business practitioners/managers and Open to BITC members and non-members
Tue, 21 April 2020 @ 10:30 – 12:00
This webinar will bring together employers from different sectors across the Business in the Community (BITC) network who are interested in getting started with capturing ethnicity data. Capturing data is the second principle of the Race at Work Charter, a set of five actions developed in conjunction with the government to support businesses with improving race equality in their workplaces. Capturing data is important for establishing a baseline and measuring progress. It is a crucial step towards improving the attraction, recruitment, retention and progression of black, Asian and minority ethnic employees (BAME).
About BITC’s Race agenda
BITC supports employers in ensuring that BAME employees are represented at all levels. These aims and issue areas enable us to provide the most relevant and insightful support to members and inform our engagement with government, industry stakeholders and employers when campaigning for wider societal and organisational change.
This event is suitable for anyone in the BITC network who is interested in improving race equality in the workplace, including human resources managers and responsible business practitioners.
