Tragic events in the US sparked race protests across the globe and prompted a flurry of statements of support from businesses. During this webinar the team at Irwin Mitchell will discuss the challenges they are facing when it comes to black, Asian and minority ethnic inclusion and representation in their workforce and how they are kickstarting conversations about race within the business.

Guest speakers

  • Kate Rawlings, Corporate Social Responsibility Manager and Associate, Irwin Mitchell
  • Sandra Kerr CBE, Race Equality Director, Business in the Community (BITC)

As the challenges facing us from COVID-19 become increasingly clear, there has never been a more important time for BITC to bring our members together. We want to offer our support in the most effective way we can and understand what support for our members is needed.

BITC Business Member Response Forums – are weekly webinars for all our members, to share ideas and challenges. The webinars also update you on what is happening at BITC and across the Responsible Business Network.

Themes for the webinars include supporting communities, supporting the health and wellbeing of staff and supporting small business.

Please do get in touch with us and share ideas as to the topics, you, our members and partners, would find beneficial to explore.

This event is open to BITC members. It is aimed at responsible business practitioners and leaders.
