Peer learning forum: Wellbeing and remote workers
AudienceBITC members with a wellbeing partnership
Tue, 18 August 2020 @ 11:00 – 12:30
This peer learning forum, aimed at Business in the Community (BITC) members with a Wellbeing partnership, will provide insights into remote working and discuss the challenges, successes and next steps for employers as they support remote workers’ wellbeing.
Remote working is on the rise. Between 2008 and 2018 there has been a 74% increase in the number of people working from their own home.¹ There is a wide variety of people who do not work in traditional office settings, including people who work from home, retail staff, contractors or drivers.
This represents a huge challenge for employers supporting the wellbeing of remote workers. Approaches to line management, communication, health and safety and training, to name a few, differ for remote and office-based workers and require specific thinking and resources.
This event is open to BITC members with a Wellbeing Partnership. The event will be useful for human resources and wellbeing practitioners.
Places are limited and will be reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis. Due to size restrictions, we are limited to offering one place per member organisation.
