During this The United Nations General Assembly Week: Creating a Decade of Action on the Global Goals webinar, Business in the Community (BITC) will help those attending navigate the often complex calendar of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
- break down key events happening that week
- find out how to leverage them
- offer guidance on what to look out for.
BITC is sharing a preview of insights on how the pandemic has influenced the thinking on responsible business and the role of business in building back responsibly. These will be published during UNGA Week (which starts on Monday 21 September).
This event is open to both members and non-members of BITC.
The 75th session of the United Nations (UN General Assembly (UNGA 75) takes place this September, and marks the 75th anniversary of the creation of the United Nations (UN). With ten years left to meet the ambitions of the UN’s Global Goals, 2020 also marks the decade of action on the Global Goals. COVID-19 will have huge implications on the United Nations General Assembly, both in format and issue themes.
