Webinar: Work Placements in the New Normal
AudienceCSR/responsible business practitioners/managers and Open to all BITC members
Tue, 06 October 2020 @ 10:00 – 11:00
This webinar is for Business in the Community (BITC) members to learn how businesses can convert their work experience and work placements into a virtual offer, while ensuring a quality experience for everyone involved.
About the webinar
We will be sharing content from a new factsheet on quality work experience and placements in light of COVID-19, offering information and guidance on virtual placements. We will also discuss the Government’s Kickstart scheme and how employers can make the most of this opportunity to access diverse future talent.
Offering quality experience of work, adopting new approaches to recruitment and breaking down barriers to entering work for people from disadvantaged groups can benefit business by tackling skills shortages, building new talent pipelines, boosting retention rates and achieving higher productivity.
Open to all BITC members and appropriate for CSR and HR practitioners.
