Led by Business in the Community’s (BITC) West Midlands Board this roundtable will discuss opportunities for leadership and collaboration towards climate resilience and achieving net zero carbon in the West Midlands.
This is an invitation only event hosted by Lee Mellor, chair of BITC’s West Midlands Board and Vice President Europe, SC Johnson Professional UK, Amanda Mackenzie OBE, chief executive, Business in the Community and Liv Garfield, chief executive officer (CEO) of Severn Trent.
We are calling on the CEOs of major West Midlands businesses to work together and with other stakeholders to identify opportunities to support businesses in the region to move faster in:
- committing to ambitious climate resilience plans and net zero carbon targets
- tackling key challenges e.g. transport and the built environment
- investing in nature
- mobilising employees.
