This event would be of interest to employers seeking to understand how their apprenticeships can contribute to their inclusive recruitment strategy. \n\n\nBackground\nBusinesses in BITC places consistently identify skill shortages as a primary hiring challenge. A 2021 government report showed that nearly half of UK businesses (48%) were recruiting for roles requiring hard data skills with a similar number (46%) struggling to recruit for these roles over the 2 previous years. \nApprenticeships play a key role in preparing people for the roles a business needs.
