DESCRIPTION:Join us to discuss how businesses can reclaim the narrative and tell a positive story on climate action.\n\n\nThis is an online event taking place on Microsoft Teams \n \nAudience\nBusiness in the Community (BITC) members with advisory\, as well as non-members who have an advisory package with us. Hosted by our issue experts\, there are 20 forums a year\, covering a range of responsible business areas and enabling our members to discuss challenges\, solutions and ideas. \n\n\nAbout the event\n2025 was a turbulent time for sustainability – political discourse on net zero has started to fracture\, the costs of climate mitigation continue to rise\, and it is looking certain that we will overshoot our global goal to keep temperature rises to 1.5C. \nAlongside this\, businesses who have made quick progress with decarbonisation of their Scope 1 and 2 emissions are now faced with the more stubborn challenge of their supply chain impacts. \nSo\, how do businesses move from “greenhushing” to championing net zero? How can we celebrate success whilst being honest about the challenges? How do we manage uncertainty? \n\n\nAbout Business in the Community’s Peer Learning Forums\nBITC’s Peer Learning Forums provide a confidential environment to discuss common issues\, solutions\, and good practice. There will be an emphasis on discussion and sharing experiences.
