DESCRIPTION:Join our launch to hear about the critical role of business networks in strengthening community resilience and the next steps.\n\n\nThis is an online event. \nBackground\nThrough our partnership with Greater London Authority’s Resilience Unit\, Business in the Community (BITC) is pleased to launch an insightful report into the critical role of business networks in strengthening community resilience and the opportunity for deeper engagement with Local Resilience Forums (LRF’s). \nWhile businesses are essential in emergency preparedness and response\, their involvement has been hindered by low awareness\, resource limitations and competing priorities. This study identifies key opportunities to integrate businesses into resilience planning and equip them with the tools needed to be proactive contributors to the ‘whole of society’ approach to resilience set out in the UK Government resilience framework. \n\n\nAbout the event\nBITC\, alongside Greater London Authority’s Resilience Unit\, will be presenting the findings and recmomendations from the report.
