DESCRIPTION:Join us to explore how fostering financial literacy can drive social change and economic empowerment.\n\n\nThis is an online event. \nAudience\nBusiness in the Community (BITC) members who have advisory in their membership package. Our Peer Learning Forums (PLF) are now open to all members who have advisory in their membership package – hosted by our issue experts\, there are 20 forums a year\, covering a range of responsible business areas and enabling our members to discuss challenges\, solutions and ideas. \n\n\nBackground\nBITC Social Impact Advisory supports companies through understanding the leading practice principles of social impact\, co-designing solutions with their communities\, and leading to sustainable impact within society and business. ​Our thoughtful\, needs-led approach enables us to deliver outputs and recommendations that are evidence-based and that help organisations understand what leading practice is\, and what action they can take to achieve that. \nIs your business doing enough to foster financial literacy? \nIn the UK\, a staggering 39% of working-age individuals lack confidence in managing their money\, and 11.5 million people have less than £100 in savings*.
