DESCRIPTION:Join leaders post-COP29 to explore how businesses can ensure a fair\, inclusive net zero transition and help shape Business in the Community’s (BITC) upcoming Charter.\n\n\nThis is an in-person event \nAudience\nThis event is invite only and open to BITC members. The event has been designed exclusively for senior sustainability and social impact leaders\, as well as other senior leaders that have an interest in ensuring their organisation’s net zero transition is fair and inclusive. \n\n\nBackground\nIn the wake of the COP29 climate summit\, we invite senior business sustainability leaders to join us for an essential dialogue on delivering a just transition to net zero. As the urgency to address the climate crisis intensifies\, businesses have a pivotal role in ensuring that the shift to a low-carbon economy is fair and inclusive\, benefiting workers\, communities\, suppliers\, and customers. \nThis event will highlight practical strategies and collaborative efforts that not only reduce carbon emissions but also support workers\, communities\, and other stakeholders impacted by this transition.
