SUMMARY:Peer Learning Forum: Neurodiversity in the Workplace
DESCRIPTION:Join us to explore how we can create neuro-inclusive workplaces that empower neurodivergent colleagues to thrive.\n\n\nThis is an online event. \nAudience\nBusiness in the Community (BITC) members who have advisory in their membership package. Our Peer Learning Forums (PLF) are now open to all members who have advisory in their membership package – hosted by our issue experts\, there are 20 forums a year\, covering a range of responsible business areas and enabling our members to discuss challenges\, solutions and ideas. \n\n\nAbout the event\nAlthough 15-20% of employees are likely to be neurodivergent\, only 60% of organisations have included a focus on neuro-inclusion (CIPD\, 2024). Neurodiversity is often spoken about in the context of reasonable adjustments or workplace adaptions; to embed neuro-inclusive practices the whole employee lifecycle must be considered. \nIn this Peer Learning forum\, we will speak to guests about what meaningful actions they have taken to enable neurodivergent colleagues to thrive.
