Ian Diment is Group Human Resources and Strategy Director at A.F. Blakemore & Son Ltd. The family-owned business, with its headquarters in Willenhall in the West Midlands, is one of the largest food and drink retailers and wholesalers in the UK. It is a major supplier to SPAR convenience stores across England and Wales.
Ian joined the company in 2011 and was appointed to the Main Board of Directors in 2015. He has more than 20 years of experience in human resources. Ian is currently overseeing operational HR as well as learning and development and the company’s corporate responsibility programme, while Caoire Blakemore is on maternity leave. Ian has played a key role in embedding A.F. Blakemore’s culture and values across the business and looks forward to working with Business in the Community’s (BITC) West Midlands Leadership Board.
