Neighbourhoods that Work

Neighbourhoods that work logoBusiness in the Community (BITC) is one of seven partners (BITC, GYROS, Future Projects, GY MIND Voluntary Norfolk, DIAL and Great Yarmouth College) working on Great Yarmouth Borough Council’s three year Neighbourhoods That Work project.  The project started at the end of 2015 and is funded by the Big Lottery.

Our local Transformation Manager, Leanne Wilson, helps organisations to access the variety of support available.

Through this project Business in the Community is developing a Responsible Business Network specifically for employers in Great Yarmouth. This business led network will be formed of local workplaces who want to engage with their local community, through activities themed around education, employability, skill based volunteering and business mentoring.
