Kay is a partner at law firm Browne Jacobson and leads the Tech and Projects practice in their head office in Nottingham.
Kay specialises in advising on the legal and commercial aspects of IT outsourcings including transformation and business change programmes. She also advises on business process outsourcings and general commercial arrangements in the insurance, financial and central government sectors.
Kay has provided support on some of the most innovative and complex transactions including the procurement of blockchain technologies.
She provides solution orientated, commercially driven and pragmatic advice. She understands the drivers and objectives of transactions and guides clients through the complex commercial issues that arise on projects.
Kay’s experience includes advising on procurements of ERP systems, policy administration and quote systems, financial and accounting systems, and HR and payroll systems. She has also provided recommendations on cloud agreements including IaaS and SaaS, support and maintenance agreements, software licences and design and build consultancy agreements.
Kay has joined the BITC leadership board because she is passionate about the community and local area in which she works. She wants to be a part of the change for the better.
