Business in the Community response to ITN publishing their ethnicity pay gap

In response to ITN publishing their ethnicity pay gap, Sandra Kerr OBE, Race Equality Director, Business in the Community, said: “By publishing their ethnicity pay gap figures, ITN has joined a small but growing list of organisations who understand that the best places to work are inclusive, with opportunities for employees to develop and progress as well as gain fair reward, pay and recognition.

There are organisations out there who may be collecting data but are not yet publishing it. We hope that by putting their heads above the parapet, companies such as ITN, EY, the BBC, GLA, PwC, Deloitte and KPMG will encourage other employers within other sectors to follow suit, not with just publishing data but setting out the actions they plan to narrow and ultimately close the gaps.”
