The Best 100 Employers for Race listing 2017 is now open for entry!

Entry is open until 2nd June 2017 and has a short 3 step entry process.

This listing will identify the best 100 employers in the UK for race diversity and equality. Participation in the list is one of the recommendations made by Baroness Ruby McGregor-Smith author of the Government's review into Race in the Workplace a call to action to all UK employers as a means of encouraging faster movement towards truly inclusive workplaces. Workplaces where race diversity is ‘business as usual’, and opportunities for recruitment and progression can be equally accessed by ethnic minorities.

Key points:

  • The listing is free to enter: There are no hidden financial costs. It is free to all UK employers, irrespective of size or sector.
  • The entry process is short:  With 31 questions, some quotes and a case study we have ensured that entering the Best 100 Employers for Race listing is not resource intensive.  The actual input online will take no more than 30 minutes once you’ve done the preparatory work.
  • All employers, irrespective of size or sector are encouraged to enter:   We need employers who are taking action on race in the workplace to step up and get involved and be role models and examples of good practice for other employers in their sector.

*The 100 employers identified as Best Employers for Race will eligible to be considered for a Business in the Community Race Equality Award.
