This listing will identify the best 100 employers in the UK for race diversity and equality. Participation in the list is one of the recommendations made by Baroness Ruby McGregor-Smith author of the Government's review into Race in the Workplace, a call to action to all UK employers as a means of encouraging faster movement towards truly inclusive workplaces. Workplaces where race diversity is ‘business as usual’, and opportunities for recruitment and progression can be equally accessed by ethnic minorities.
Speaking of her excitement at the opening of the listing entry process, Sandra Kerr OBE, Business in the Community Race Equality Director said, '' The Best 100 Employers for Race list will enable us to celebrate employers from all sectors who are demonstrating through leadership and tangible action their commitment to the recruitment, progression and inclusion of people from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic backgrounds in the workplace.''
