Celebrating 100 Years in Southampton

|British American Tobacco

As part of their on-going commitment to the local community and to mark their Centenary year, British American Tobacco has pledged the creation of a Centenary Legacy fund to be managed by the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Community Foundation

We are proud to have been a major employer, with a significant presence in the city, for 100 years. Today we have over 1,000 people employed in Southampton, covering a broad spectrum of activity from world class science, cutting edge innovation and technology, complex regional supply chain hubs and all of the supporting expertise that a global organisation needs. I trust that this tradition remains and that British American Tobacco continues to be one of the city’s largest employers and a fixed part of the Southampton community.
