“ This award will be an invaluable resource of funding and training, giving us a great start. ”
Recently, with support from Business in the Community, Ed Savory at Leathes Prior has been mentoring Joy, providing support and training in business development. This support has enabled Joy to fully establish Sleep East and successfully bid for an Unltd Millennium Award,
Following a competitive application process, Sleep East will receive a package of 1 to 1 support, expert advice, access to resources as well as a start-up grant to enable the enterprise to support families in the region.
Joy said: “This award will be an invaluable resource of funding and training, giving us a great start. Sleep East’s team of qualified Sleep Counsellors specialise in support for parents and carers of children with complex and additional needs. We also offer training through Sleep Workshops.”
Sleep East’s business mentor, Ed Savory at Leathes Prior, is delighted with their success and the impact this will have on their services:
“It is fantastic to see Joy and her team’s hard work and drive to improve the lives of those affected by poor sleep quality recognised by UnLtd. The Award will help Sleep East to provide sleep therapy and support for local families across the region that, for some, is so desperately needed.”
