Something egg-citing is happening across the East Midlands

Businesses and community organisations in the East Midlands are being asked to donate Easter eggs to bring a smile to the faces of disadvantaged children.

Business in the Community East Midlands team’s Collect for Easter campaign has hatched and they are asking Nottingham businesses and community groups to donate Easter Eggs so that they can bring a smile to the faces of less fortunate children this Easter.

Companies and community groups are being urged to organise their own collections of Easter Eggs and rally support for the scheme in any way they can.

There are currently 3,500+ children across Nottingham who are disadvantaged in some way.  For just a few pence, businesses can really make a difference to them.

Community Engagement Manager Kerri Pomeroy said “As a business at the heart of the City we want to help and support local children who, for whatever reason, may need a bit of extra cheer this Easter. Asking our businesses and community partners to join forces with this collection enables us to increase the numbers and ensure we support as many of those 3,500+ children as we can"

Please deliver any eggs that your company or community group collects to Sally Porter at Nottingham City Council, Loxley House, Station Street, Nottingham, NG2 3NG, before Wednesday 12th April.  Please call first on 0115 8764711 to arrange delivery.
