Neil Beetlestone is a Regional Director for HSBC UK, leading a team of 1500 people through 165 branches to deliver exceptional digitally led customer service.
Neil started his banking career 12 years ago having worked in food retail since leaving school. He is extremely passionate about coaching and developing his leaders, whilst being determined to change the lives of his customers for the better.
Neil’s region covers all of Wales, The Midlands, Cambridge, Norfolk, Suffolk and everywhere in between. The region is geographically and culturally diverse, supported by local employees and customers, giving the region a unique opportunity to be at the heart of each community.
A key passion of Neil’s is driving a culture of engagement through values of honesty and transparency, being present and visible to his wider team remains a rock in his weekly operating rhythm.
Neil is also the Co-Chair for two regional community committees within HSBC UK which focus on supporting the communities that the region serves though volunteering and fundraising, most recently he completed nine marathons in nine days in aid of Children in Need.
Neil has chosen to join the West Midlands Regional Advisory Board due to his passion in developing future leaders by focussing on the development of future skillsets needed to make a difference in the short and medium term. He also hosts weekly community groups enabling his colleagues to contribute towards the Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) agenda within HSBC and beyond.
Neil is married to Caroline and they have three children, Amy, Mitchell and Sophie. In what spare time he gets, Neil enjoys playing squash, sea fishing and going on holiday to France with his family.
