Duncan leads GSK’s Developing Countries and Market Access operating unit. The new group was formed in August 2010 and integrates GSK's Pharmaceutical and Vaccines business in the 48 Least Developed Countries (LDC) into one unit.
The group has a dedicated focus on delivering the strategic approaches needed to expand access to medicines for patients in LDCs. The new group also includes GSK’s Market Access function which supports pricing strategy and policy for the wider Emerging Markets and Asia Pacific Region within the Company.
Duncan is also a Board member of ViiV Healthcare, a global specialist HIV company established by GSK and Pfizer to deliver advances in treatment and care for people living with HIV. Duncan was previously Senior Vice President, Global Communications with responsibility for GSK’s relationship with key stakeholder groups including media, investors and employees and leading the Company’s approach on corporate responsibility and community partnerships.
Duncan has been with GSK for 20 years and has wide-ranging background in science, finance, strategy and corporate affairs.
