Trevor is the partner who leads KPMG’s National Public Sector Audit Practice. He joined KPMG in 1981 and trained in the commercial audit practice in their Manchester office. Post qualification he had a range of secondments with KPMG, including corporate recovery, corporate finance and financial services, all of which helped him develop a wide range of commercial skills. In 1993 he was seconded to an NHS Trust to develop costing methodologies for surgical procedures. On his return, he was promoted to partner and concentrated on Public Sector work.
In addition to leading KPMG’s Public Sector Audit Practice, Trevor is KPMG’s lead on their national contract with the Audit Commission that provides audit services to over 40 NHS bodies and 30 local authorities. Trevor’s focus is on the NHS and education and he is equipped with a wealth of relevant experience.
