Access the Buyer: Advanced Manufacturing

Business leaders from advanced manufacturing SMEs met with buyers to discuss how they could grow their businesses and create more jobs at an Access the Buyer event in Teesside.

25 SMEs supplying everything from IT and security to marketing, fabrication and Renewable Energy Generation Technology attended the event and got top tips on how best to approach companies, win contracts and develop long-term relationships.

On hand to share best practice were diesel and natural gas engine and related technology specialists Cummins Inc, one of the world’s leading pump manufacturers, Grundfos and leading providers of technology connecting the global offshore energy industry, JDR Cables
Delegates also heard from Terry Hogg, Commercialisaion Manager from ORE Catapult and Chris Simpson, Lead International Trade Adviser from UK Trade & Investment about the great amount of support available to SMEs.
