Eat Like a Champ (ELAC) was born following Danone’s discovery that there was a gap in knowledge surrounding healthy lifestyles amongst teachers, parents and children. Danone partnered with the British Nutririon Foundation (BNF), The Children’s Food Trust (CFT), the Department of Health on the Change4Life campaign and with Ealing Council, the local authority for Danones UK head office.

The Team RBS Islington Playground Challenge is a partnership between RBS and Islington Council to regenerate the twelve adventure playgrounds giving more than 1,000 children free, safe, open access places to play. With three out of four Islington residents living in flats, including 50% on purpose built estates, it is essential that outdoor spaces are made available for local children.

UBS has a long-standing community affairs programme with the aim of overcoming disadvantage by supporting education and entrepreneurship in its local communities through a combination of funding and the commitment and skills of employees.  In 2012, over 2000 UBS volunteers collectively gave 17,000 hours of their time to the community.

Since 2011 Wates Construction Ltd. have been in a Business Class partnership with Kings Oak Academy in Bristol. The partnership was developed to raise the aspirations and life chances of students from the school, as well as to enrich Wates as a business. Mock interview sessions, mentoring and a careers fair have helped to achieve this, with positive reports from pupils and staff, and real results in the form of students finding apprenticeships.
