Crawley - Peace Garden - 10 - 15 Volunteers

Physical team challenge: Help set the course and enhance the environment that leads to a 'Peace Garden' used by pupils at a local primary school.

This local primary school serves young people from a range of backgrounds with 506 pupils currently on role.  There is an active PTA which arranges many events throughout the year, raising vital funds for extra equipment, facilities and enrichment activities. The governors play an active and supportive role in the life of the school. They bring together a wide variety of talents encompassing many areas of professional and business life.

The school would welcome help in erecting a low fence to border a Key Stage 1 playground. This would ensure the site is safe and secure for pupils whilst being in-keeping with the sites surroudnings.

Creative ideas in developing a sensory trail would also be welcomed to allow pupils to explore nature and learn about plants. A Peace Garden which is currently used by pupils to enjoy some quiet time would also benefit from having a gate installed.
