Gentoo established ‘Gentoo Armed Forces Veterans Group’ made up of veterans, reservists and military spouses, who meet once a month and advise the business on how to further support ex-service personnel throughout Sunderland. Based on feedback from the Veterans Group, Gentoo developed new internal policies, such as short notice leave for military family members.
