ProHelp in Nottinghamshire

Nottinghamshire ProHelp is currently chaired by Adam Jeffrey of Chimera Consulting. During the last twelve months the group has collectively provided over £56,000 worth of free professional support to community and voluntary organisations in the local area. The group consists of 24 member firms, including law firms, accountants, architects, surveyors, marketing and PR consultants and graphic designers.

I cannot say enough how grateful we are to ProHelp for this excellent professional support, as we are so much in our infancy and in need of it!

Nottinghamshire ProHelp welcomes applications from charitable organisations from anywhere within the county and encourages not for profit groups in need of support to make contact.

ProHelp relies on local funding to pay the costs of managing and administering professional support and business mentoring services within Nottinghamshire.  Despite our determination to continue to provide these services completely free of charge to community clients, it has become increasingly challenging and unsustainable for us to do so.  Therefore, as of 1 October 2015, all requests for support from the BITC ProHelp programme will incur an administration fee of £180 (inc.VAT).

The time provided by member firms is completely free of charge. The firms receive no remuneration for the service they give and all we ask in return is that clients complete an evaluation form at the end of the assignment to let us know how it went!

Nottinghamshire ProHelp Members

The following are local professional firms that have committed to provide pro-bono support, through ProHelp, to community organisations in the county. Each member firm commits to an agreed number of hours at the beginning of every year, but the time commitment to each project, which organisations to support and the number of assignments undertaken is entirely at the discretion of the firm.
