London Leadership Board

Punit Bhatia is a Partner in Deloitte LLP’s London office and leads its Shared Services, business process outsourcing (BPO) and Global Business Services practice. Prior to this, Punit was the leader of its chief financial officer (CFO) Advisory team working with clients across the Finance function. In the last few years, Punit has led some of the largest and most complex Operating Model and Shared Services engagements in the industry.

Being a passionate advocate of diversity and inclusion in all forms, Punit chairs Deloitte’s Ethnicity Council which is mandated to monitor, drive and challenge the firm’s progress on inclusion. In this capacity, he also advises and lobbies leadership teams within and outside of Deloitte on matters related to ethnicity. He is one of the architects of Deloitte’s Black Action Plan.

Punit first came across the Business in the Community (BITC) while setting up Deloitte’s Ethnicity Council and found the support he received very valuable.  He has joined the BITC London Leadership Board particularly as London is the most ethnically diverse part of the UK and he is keen to support organisations across London driving inclusion.

He was born in New Delhi, India and has lived in the UK since 2005. He lives in south west London with his wife and two children and is a keen squash player – where his enthusiasm makes up for his skill!
