In its annual report, Symantec outlines meaningful achievements – specifically exceeding the goal of educating more than 1 million students in STEM and reducing the company’s greenhouse gas emissions
Report highlights
  • Surpassing its goal of educating one million students in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) with an emphasis on computer science and cyber security.
  • Reducing scope 1 and scope 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 15 percent, far surpassing the company’s three percent annual reduction target and bringing its reduction total to 19 percent.
  • The company has been named to the Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index for the 11th consecutive year and to the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index for the 10th consecutive year.
  • Symantec has been a member of the FTSE4Good for 11 consecutive years.
