The Kay Review of UK equity markets and long-term decision-making

The Kay Review, led by John Kay, set out a radical agenda to address misaligned incentives and to restore relationships of trust and confidence in the investment chain. Its goal was to shift the culture of equity markets to promote a longer-term outlook in UK equity markets and enable UK companies to deliver sustainable economic growth.

  • Market incentives should enable/encourage companies, savers and intermediaries to adopt investment approach which achieve long-term results
