This course explores responsible business in low income markets, covering what the important issues are by using the UN Millennium Development Goals as a framework, outlining the business case for engaging with them and giving examples of companies that are taking action.

Leading companies now recognise that it is in their long-term interest to invest in building safe, secure societies.  Business are also seeing global challenges as a driver of innovation and looking for new market opportunities in developing countries.
