Business in the Community


Kieran was appointed Chief Executive of Business in the Community in April 2025.

Kieran has been with Business in the Community since 1990. He took on the role of Managing Director in Northern Ireland in January 2011 and played a leading role in the organisation’s growth.

Kieran has been instrumental in driving the responsible business agenda in Northern Ireland, leading a team of 40 outstanding individuals who champion this work in Northern Ireland.

Kieran was appointed Visiting Professor in Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility at Ulster University in April 2025.

Kieran is also a Trustee of Sprit 2012, a UK legacy charity of the London Olympic Games.

He is a former Irish League footballer, holding coaching and managerial positions with several leading Northern Ireland football teams and is currently Chair of Cliftonville Football Club.

Kieran is married to Frances and they have two grown-up children.
