Nick Steven-Jones is Chief Executive of the Jarrold Group and Chair of the Norfolk Business Board. A qualified accountant, he has built his career leading organisations through change and growth, combining commercial performance with long-term community benefit.

Nick joined Jarrold in 2022 as Chief Operating Officer and became Chief Executive the following year. Before that, he held senior finance and operational roles at Archant, including Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, and began his career on Aviva’s graduate scheme. He has developed deep experience in strategic planning, transformation, and partnership working across finance, media, and retail.

As both a business leader and civic partner, Nick is passionate about strengthening the links between enterprise, education, and local government to support sustainable regional growth. He is particularly focused on helping Norwich and Norfolk project a balanced, confident narrative, recognising the region’s challenges while championing its strengths in energy transition, Agri-tech innovation, creative industries, retail, and cultural heritage.

Through collaboration and practical partnerships, he aims to help unlock Norwich and Norfolk’s full potential and attract greater investment and opportunity to the region.
