Holly Jago is the Head of ESG and Corporate Reporting at National Gas, providing leadership for the business in defining and implementing the ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) and Corporate Reporting strategies.
National Gas owns, manages, and operates the National Transmission System in Great Britain, making gas available when and where it’s needed. Following the separation of the business from National Grid in February 2023, Holly designed and managed the implementation of a new ESG strategy for National Gas, working with teams across the business to develop the frameworks, metrics and action plans to drive activity and secure both employee and external stakeholder engagement in the ESG agenda. She also led delivery of a new National Gas reporting plan for both regulatory and non-regulatory ESG and Corporate disclosures, including delivery of the company’s first stand-alone annual report and accounts.
Prior to joining National Gas, Holly spent over 15 years within the energy and automotive sectors. As JLR’s Global Corporate Affairs Manager for Responsible Business, Holly managed the company’s CSR Fund, employee volunteering and charitable giving programmes, and education activities. At Calor Gas, Holly led the company’s internal and external communications, public affairs activities and responsible business programme, including the launch of the UK’s first rural fuel poverty assistance scheme.
Outside of work, Holly is kept extremely busy by two energetic small children and a mischievous dog!
