About Karena Starkie-Gomez
Karena is an organisation and leadership development specialist. Working across both leadership and executive development and workforce projects. Developing individuals and teams to deliver strategic goals and grow skills and capabilities in the process. She has supported many Executive teams and Boards to high performance. She is faculty Director for the NHS Bevan programme, this has been delivered for 13 years to over 2,000 senior NHS leaders. Karena is clear that an inclusive culture will deliver better business results, she led the KPMG Black Heritage reverse mentoring programme – pairing senior partners with black heritage mentors.
Karena has served on Business in the Community’s East Midlands Leadership board since February 2025.
