About Sarah Dewar

Sarah is an Executive Director for Everyturn Mental Health, a national non-profit, providing mental health services on behalf of the NHS.

Sarah is passionate about supporting and valuing the amazing people who work across Everyturn, creating opportunities for development, recognition, and empowerment in innovative and responsive ways.

At Everyturn, Sarah is accountable for people and culture, together with digital, technology and transformation.

Sarah also serves as Vice Chair of the Board for the arts venue Dance City (together with chairing the finance, governance and people committee), and a Remuneration Committee member for Housing Association, Thirteen. She is also a mentor on the national CIPD Aspiring Directors programme.

Proud of her North-East roots, Sarah was interested in joining the Leadership Board to help support, along with other leaders across the region, businesses to focus on responsible, innovative and sustainable practices with a people and culture focus.

When not working, Sarah enjoys long walks exploring the many wonderful beaches and country parks in the region with her family and pet dog.

Sarah has served on Business in the Community’s North East Leadership board since May 2026.

North East Leadership Team Member

Each of Business in the Community’s regions are led by groups of senior executives who provide strategic guidance and support us in achieving our social and environmental objectives, nationally and locally. By joining a regional leadership board, senior professionals can influence the local debate, shape the agenda for action and work with other leaders to identify the unique ways in which business can help innovate and create more sustainable livelihoods and prosperous communities across the region.
