About Ankita Mishra


Ankita Mishra is the Responsible Business Advisor at Mills & Reeve LLP, where she leads sustainability initiatives and oversees the firm’s sustainability strategy across departments. Her work focuses on designing actionable carbon reduction pathways, driving meaningful change toward a low-carbon future, making the firm risk-resilient, and ensuring stakeholder engagement.

In 2025, Ankita was honoured as Green Leader of the Year at the West Midlands Leadership Awards and recognised as a finalist for the PA Awards in the CSR and EDI Champion of the Year categories.

With over a decade of corporate experience and three years dedicated to Sustainability and CSR, Ankita brings a strong foundation in business and environmental stewardship. She holds a Masters degree in Management & Corporate Sustainability, is IEMA-certified, and carbon literate. Her passion lies in creating a better society through environmental progress, with particular interest in climate change, AI applications in sustainability, and building healthy, resilient cities.

Beyond her professional role, Ankita is deeply engaged in cultural dialogue, innovation, and social causes, which she considers her natural calling. She believes that collaboration and creativity are key to shaping a sustainable future for both businesses and communities.

Ankita has served on Business in the Community’s South East Leadership Board since November 2025.
