About Nick Potter


Nick Potter joined Simplyhealth in 2021 as Chief Financial Officer. Over the past 20 years Nick, a Chartered Accountant (ACA), has specialised in the healthcare industry working in the UK and internationally at Bupa, Sanitas Hospital Division and Aetna International. During his career, Nick has worked across commercial, finance, M&A, restructuring, audit and risk, while serving on multiple main Board and sub-committees, including Chair of Audit Committee.

Simplyhealth is a founding member of the British Chambers of Commerce’s Business Council. The Business Council is designing and driving the Future of the Economy initiative, looking at how it can positively shape economic growth at a national level. Nick is a member of the People and Work challenge group, that will develop a comprehensive plan to reform the labour market and tackle skills shortages, considering the positive impact that workplace health support can play. Nick believes passionately about the role of business as a force for good in society – balancing people, planet and profit equitably. This is one of reasons Nick has joined the Business in the Community (BITC) South East Leadership Board.

Nick Potter has served on Business in the Community’s South East Leadership as board chair since November 2023.

By joining a regional leadership board, senior professionals can influence the local debate, shape the agenda for action and work with other leaders to identify the unique ways in which business can help innovate and create more sustainable livelihoods and prosperous communities across the region.
