Pride of Place: Norwich Leadership Board

Purpose

Our work is led by our local Pride of Place Partnerships – a cross-sector senior leadership board which sets the strategic direction for our work, mobilises their workforce to support with delivery of activities and acts as an advocate for the programme both regionally and locally.

By joining a regional leadership board, senior professionals can influence the local debate, shape the agenda for action and work with other leaders to identify the unique ways in which business can help innovate and create more sustainable livelihoods and prosperous communities across the region.

The role of members of a regional leadership board is to:

act as a ‘critical friend’ and sounding board to the BITC team
act as an ambassador for BITC, encouraging membership recruitment and engagement, championing responsible business in the region
facilitate activity on the ground both within their own organisation and their broader network.
