Sarah Lucas is the Regional Director for Small Business Banking in the South West and Wales for HSBC UK. She is responsible for the company’s face-to-face business specialists who in turn support more than 150,000 customers across the region.
Sarah has been with the HSBC Group for over 30 years with experience across its Retail Branch network, as a Commercial Manager and as an Area Director for Business Banking in and around Bristol. With a range of experience, Sarah leads her team through the ever-evolving world of banking to support clients in developing their businesses.
Sarah is committed to people development and helping her direct team, together with those that she mentors, to progress their careers and their success is a constant source of motivation. As an ambassador for change, Sarah is always at the forefront of new initiatives, challenging processes to seek out a more efficient and satisfying experience for customers and employees.
Sarah lives in Somerset with her husband and daughter. She has recently started running and tries to join local Parkruns as often as possible and is considering her next running challenge.
