Thomas Darcy has 15 years industry experience working within and leading multi-disciplinary teams to deliver a range of environmental, infrastructure and regeneration projects. His portfolio includes projects across London and the Thames Estuary, the wider UK, Ireland and parts of the middle east. With experience of working within the local authority, environmental, high speed rail, highways, aviation, education, energy, pharmaceutical, master planning and urban regeneration sectors.

In 2019 Thomas was appointed as Jacobs City Growth Director for London, responsible for leading Jacobs’ growth strategy for the capital. With a strong focus on working across disciplines to apply new technologies and innovative techniques. Helping clients work towards solving their toughest challenges and achieving their infrastructure, resilience, sustainability and operational objectives.

Thomas is also Jacobs Client Account Manager for Transport for London, working across all business sectors to ensure the business is best responding to client needs and leading the winning of new challenging and rewarding commissions.

A chartered landscape architect by profession, Thomas works hard to carry his interest in creativity and environmental design across all of his project and business development efforts. He is also strong believer in the benefits of community and stakeholder engagement as part of the design process.

Thomas is proud to be a member of the Business in the Community (BITC) London Board and is particularly interested in the potential for making a positive contribution to the cities Carbon Challenge response.
